Company Overview

The Ripper Group company name is drawn from a popular Australian phrase, “You Little Ripper!” The word ripper used in this way means “absolutely excellent, or something exciting extreme approval” (Macquarie Dictionary).

It’s the perfect name for a company that utilises its expertise in unmanned  aerial vehicles (UAVs) to pioneer changes in the way we rescue, record, maintain, inform and identify.

Purpose

Work closely with the Lead Instructor to gain insight on how course content is developed, prepared and delivered in a practical environment.

Key Duties

• Preparing and delivering course content to students
• Observe lessons
• Set up of classroom before session
• Monitoring and recording the attendance of registered students
• Assist in answering student questions and inquiries
• Create a learning environment that encourages student involvement and participation
• Professionally communicate, consulting and co-operate with other team members and students

Key Skills & Attributes

Essential:

• Studying a Bachelor of Educated or Certificate in Training and Assessment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident speaking in front of a group of people
• Driven self-starter with a can do attitude

Desirable:

• Interest in Drone / Aviation industry

Hours

Business hours are from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
1-2 days per week, by mutual agreement (flexible).

The internship may lead to paid casual, part-time or full-time work.
